James Potter, known otherwise as Prongs, was friends with, Siruis Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin. He married Lily Evans when he got out of school and ended up having Harry. He and his wife died on Halloween the year Harry was one. His animagi form is a Stag, hence the term, Prongs. They lived in Godric's Hollow until Voldemort came and murdered them. James ws in the Order of the Pheonix until they were killed.
